Timeless design exhibits key ingredients: Balance and rhythm. Proportion and scale, movement and contrast. Emphasis. Unity.

This home is no exception. There is so much to love about this brand new build, found hidden in the small thriving community nestled under the maunga, Te Aroha.

The attention to detail by its team of creators - the owner, architect and builder - is second to none.

For me there's one particular design decision that is inspired - the use of fabric for wall coverings in its luxurious boudoir, the elegant master suite and double-height wardrobe-dressing room.

Such a choice can create provenance.

"CASAMANCE... revitalises contemporary furnishings, inventing the classics of tomorrow and creating timeless designs to enhance interiors in style."

The wall fabric throughout is Palo, in the Canvas colourway. Palo is a timeless core basic, linen mix product that can be used for both drapery and upholstery.

A beautiful vertical feature panel compliments, the fabric is Elaphe, also by CASAMANCE, a French editor of fabric and wallcoverings.

The combination of beautiful textiles coupled with the timber joinery and ceilings, well-chosen floor coverings and architectural lighting is simply gorgeous.

These images are just a brief glimpse of this luxurious interior...
