about

DSGNR
Interior design agency

Welcome.

DSGNR is passionate about interior design. We're a niche business based in the Waikato town of Cambridge, New Zealand, and we work with select clients across the country.

We love helping our valued clients create beautiful interior spaces. And more.

We're not a high profile company.  We've been in business for more than five years and have enjoyed working alongside fantastic people, helping curate their residential and commercial projects.

WHAT INSPIRES US?

There are a lot of interior designers out there and there is no shortage of great websites talking about interiors. We didn't see the point of creating another, so we thought we would do something different.

We'd like to tell you some stories about design that we hope you'll find interesting.

We might occasionally talk about aspects of the interiors we've helped create for clients' homes and businesses, however our clients are generally private people.

We thought it would be interesting to tell you about some of our passions, those things that inspire us and inform our work, like favourite experiences, wonderful places and interesting people... including some of the things we enjoy, like dining and travel.

We hope you enjoy our stories and perhaps you'll have the opportunity to experience some of these things for yourself - you probably already have.

If you would like to talk to us about your significant design project, whether that be at home or place of business, we'd be pleased to discuss it with you.

Drop us a line below, we'd love to have a coffee and a chat.

our team
Stephanie
Creative Director

Creative director and lead designer for DSGNR, Stephanie Allen-Jeffrey, has considerable experience in interiors and more, covering fashion and design, textiles, homeware, retail, hospitality and marketing. Steph has survived working in Auckland and Wellington and has travelled the world for business.

MJ
Managing director

MJ aka the park ranger is usually found in the DSGNR engine room, in Karapiro, keeping the business wheels turning. He has broad experience across the tech and creative sectors, and property among other things, and enjoys street photography - you'll see some his work on this site, under his pseudonym, MrWolfe.

Lili
Interior Design Consultant

Lili is DSGNR's latest design consultant based in the mighty Waikato. Having studied music, psychology and interior design in Auckland, Lili is not only cleverly creative but has a discerning taste for the best the City of Sails has to offer - she is never short of an excellent dining or entertainment recommendation if you need one.

Ali Siobhan
Contributor, STORIES

Ali is a young professional in the advertising business, living in Bondi and working on the North Shore of Sydney, Australia. A social character, she's keen on fitness and watersports, like swimming between the sharks, surfing and chess... although we thought chess didn't usually involve water?

Morgan Lee
Contributor, STORIES

Morgan is based in Hamilton, New Zealand, where she works in the human resource and recruitment sector. Morgan is a keen puppy whisperer and wakeboarder, and a talented specialist generalist by nature. She trains Muay Thai kick boxing eight times a week, so it goes without saying we're always going to be polite to her.

Teddi
Ambassador, Kindness

Teddi middle name 'bear' was born in 2015 and a cherished member of the DSGNR team. As head Schnoodle, she's responsible for first impressions, greeting visitors to the office with her infectious personality (a bark and a lick). One of the most amazing puppies known to mankind, sweetheart Teddi doesn't mind the occasional pat (irony).

Biddi
Ambassador, Cuteness

Biddi is responsible for cuteness at DSGNR. She is an advanced-trainee Schnoodle and is the newest team member. Happy-go-lucky monster puppy (don't be fooled), Biddi, has been working as Teddi's shadow learning the ropes, and will no doubt be a high-functioning DSGNR team member before long. Also likes to lick.
